As these monumental six weeks of performances come to a close, we want to extend our gratitude to the artists, performers, technicians, staff, and audience members who ensured Spring 2026 was a resounding success.

While we can’t wait to return this fall, we’re looking forward to an exciting summer with a June jaunt to the west coast to perform at The Music Center in Los Angeles, our annual summer residency at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and the BAAND Together Dance Festival in July. Will we see you there?

"I don't think I would have made it though this career without the laughter and the people I've gotten to share it with," writes former Principal Dancer Megan Fairchild in Vogue's latest 5-9 feature. Vogue went behind the curtain with Fairchild to capture one of her final days as a dancer with the company—from school drop offs to cold plunges and all the busy hours in between.

Whether it's one Altoid or three, makeup then hair or the other way around, each of our dancers has their own unique pre-show ritual—superstitious or not.

“I feel like I’m at the exact age I want to be leaving,” Principal Dancer Megan Fairchild recently told The New York Times. “I have an immense amount of peace about this whole thing. I’m not having nightmares. I’m like completely just excited—excited to retire, excited to experience the retirement, excited for the next steps, excited about who I will be with all of this experience and what I’ll do in the world with that! You know? So I’m having fun.”

As she prepares to take her final bow with the company tomorrow afternoon, Fairchild sat down with Gia Kourlas to reflect on standout moments in her 25 year career and how she feels with her farewell just around the corner.
