Thank you and congratulations to the incredible cast and crew of THE APPROACH.

Praised as “riveting,” “masterfully acted,” and “a haunting slow burn that lingers long after the final moment,” this production brought audiences together night after night for theatre that kept audiences talking long after the lights went down.

Thank you to everyone who filled the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre and made this run so memorable!

How do you raise a voice that's been drowned out? How do you get a whole country—Ireland—to hear it? You sing louder with '90s pop bangers and original songs adapted to fit a playful, subversive personal narrative about transgender liberation in the face of systemic oppression. OBVIOUSLY.

The winner of the 2025 Dublin Fringe Festival Best Production Award, PEA DINNEEN: RAISING HER VOICE, a trans fantasia, comes to Irish Rep for its U.S. Premiere June 16–28 in the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre.

Directed by John King, with Piano, Musical direction, and arrangements by Paul Prior.

Presented by Pea Dinneen and Once Off Productions, join Dublin-born niche cabaret legend Pea Dinneen for a trans fantasia, where she'll sing her way through a powerful coming-of-age story about herself, her country, and her voice. Pea delivers a crash course in modern Irish pop culture. This is a show about a nation, wrapped up in a vast, ongoing vanity project by a disenfranchised millennial hag.

For this limited engagement, all tickets are general admission, with a limited number of cabaret table seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
