The Ajkun Ballet Company
performs a repertory spanning from classical ballets to compelling new dance brought in our NYC Theaters and on Tours by our award-winning Artists. Touring included Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bolivia, Greece, Holland, Italy, United Kingdom and the United States and millions of viewers are reached by online platforms and televisions such as ABC, BBC, FOX, RAI, REDE GLOBO and TPA. The Ajkun Ballet School
offers a variety of year-round and intensive programs with a dual mission:
to train classical ballet dancers capable of joining the ranks of any world-class company and to present our local youth the joy of moving to music. The AjkunBT Fund

Performance experience is valuable, but professional preparation goes far beyond the stage.

Performances, competitions, and opportunities to work with guest artists can all contribute to a dancer’s development. But they cannot fully replace the daily influence of a professional company environment.

When choosing a ballet school, conservatory, trainee program, or professional training pathway, reputation can be part of the picture, but it shouldn’t be the only measure.

Look at the reality of the training environment. How are dancers taught and treated each day? Is the instruction consistent? Are dancers receiving meaningful guidance and opportunities to develop as individual artists?

The strongest programs demonstrate their quality through the daily experience of their dancers, not simply through a famous name or impressive promises.
