It’s here! 🪔 Diwali Fest NJ 2026 is almost here — and this year is our BIGGEST one yet with so many local food and fabulous shopping vendors!

Join us on Saturday, October 17 at Maplewood Memorial Park for the 8th Annual Diwali Fest NJ, a vibrant celebration of the Festival of Lights brought to you by SOMA Cross-Cultural Works in partnership with the Township of Maplewood. 🎉

Come hungry, come dancing! We’ve got incredible South Asian food trucks and vendors, gorgeous shopping (think henna, jewelry, clothing, home decor, and more), electrifying dance and music performances, and fun activities for the kids. It’s a full day of culture, community, and celebration for the whole family.

We are sorry to share that Holi Fest NJ 2026 has been canceled this year. 😢

Due to lower-than-expected response and not enough volunteers to help run the event, we are unable to move forward.

We are truly sad and disappointed, as our goal was to bring the community together for a joyful celebration of colors, music, food, and togetherness.

Thank you to everyone who supported, showed interest, or bought tickets (they will be refunded). We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope to bring Holi Fest back in the future with stronger community support.
