Improvised Storytelling explores the art of long-form narrative improv, where characters, relationships, and worlds emerge in real time. Led by Monica Alquetz, this course helps performers develop the skills needed to create compelling stories without a script.

One year ago, Outside In Theatre opened its doors with a vision: to create bold, human-centered art that sparks conversation, builds community, and makes space for stories that deserve to be seen.

Come join us in The Lobby at 7pm for a workshop in knot tying with Los Angeles Arthur Wong.

In the play, O: A Rhapsody In Divorce, knots, particularly nautical knots, have significance in the hero’s journey of O. She must learn to untie and untangle herself as she finds her way Home.

We will be learning how to tie the specific knot referenced in the play, the double carrick mat knot, as well as stories and lore behind knot tying.
