✨ MONDAY MEMBER HIGHLIGHT ✨

This week, we’re excited to spotlight Amanda Wood with JP Parker Flowers! 💐

Amanda is a Wedding & Event Specialist and has been part of the ILEA community since 2024. Amanda has been serving floral clients for an incredible 40 years, specializing in weddings, corporate events, nonprofit events, personal milestones, and holiday décor throughout the Indianapolis area.

For Amanda, one of the best parts of ILEA is the community behind it—the relationships built through years of collaborating, learning from one another, and showing up for both educational and social events.

Her advice for making the most of your ILEA membership? Show up! 🙌 Every meeting, workshop, and event is an opportunity to learn something new, strengthen industry connections, and continue growing no matter how long you’ve been in the business.

And we love that Amanda is already putting what she learns into action—she shared that the AI information from a recent ILEA workshop has helped save her major time when customizing floral designs for potential clients. 👏

✨ MONDAY MEMBER HIGHLIGHT ✨

This week, we’re excited to spotlight Chrissy Hudacin, Owner & Lead Designer of Special Occasion Designs! 💐💜

Chrissy has been an ILEA member since 2019 and recently completed two years as President of ILEA Indiana, serving from July 2024 through June 2026. Her leadership, involvement, and dedication to our events community have made such an impact on our chapter, and we are so grateful for everything she has poured into ILEA!

With 12 years in the industry, Chrissy specializes in creating beautiful wedding and event floral décor. One of her favorite ILEA memories was leading a session at the Midwest Retreat on Ikebana floral design, combining her passion for floral design with her past experience as a teacher. 🌿

Her advice for getting the most out of an ILEA membership? Get involved and attend the events! Chrissy credits jumping headfirst into the organization and taking advantage of opportunities both locally and with other chapters with helping grow not only her business, but her confidence as well.

And her must-have event tools? A good pair of clippers, zip ties, collapsible carts…and friends. 😉🙌
