On this day in Cinema history: the REAL Star Wars Day to some! 🎬

Star Wars premiered on May 25, 1977, in just 32 theaters nationwide. Studios didn’t expect much from George Lucas’ space fantasy, but sold-out screenings and fans lining up around the block quickly proved otherwise. The film went on to become one of the biggest box office phenomena in cinema history!
