Catalyst Repertory is an Indianapolis-based, 501c3 nonprofit repertory, community theatre troupe. Catalyst focuses on producing new plays or new adaptations of classic plays. In 2015, they (as CRP [Casey Ross Productions]) opened the 'doors' to their first season, at Fountain Square's Grove Haus, with Ross's original script, The Ripple Effect, and enjoyed a sold out house, their first opening night. Since then, with their rebranding, they have remained a mainstay Indianapolis theatre institution for new, fringe, and edgier works not typically seen in the Midwest. Founder and Artistic Director, Casey Ross is known as a veteran Indianapolis playwright, through her time creating new works within the IndyFringe Festival. She first founded CRP in 2014, after a successful run at the 10th anniversary IndyFringe Festival. With the official addition of Creative Director and Musical Director, Dave Pelsue, and Creative Director and Managing Director, Taylor Cox - the Catalyst Repertory brand was born. Our company promises to produce exciting and challenging shows that act as a catalyst to important conversations.
