As the World Malayalee Council (WMC) approaches the completion of three decades of remarkable service, the organization continues to strengthen its position as one of the worldโs most influential global Malayalee movements. Established on July 3, 1995, in New Jersey, USA, WMC today serves as a bridge connecting Malayalees across continents through humanitarian service, cultural preservation, educational support, and community development.
With an international presence spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, India, and the Far East, WMC has evolved into a powerful global network operating through more than 75 Provinces and 18 International Forums.
MAJOR HUMANITARIAN INITIATIVE
Second Phase Nursing Scholarship Program Announced
The World Malayalee Council Global has announced the second phase of its prestigious Nursing Scholarship Program, scheduled for August 22, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Kochi.
Under the program, 25 deserving nursing students from financially challenged backgrounds will receive โน1 lakh each, amounting to a total scholarship distribution of โน25 lakh.
The initiative is being implemented under the leadership and sponsorship of Dr. Babu Stephen, reflecting WMCโs commitment to supporting future healthcare professionals and strengthening educational opportunities for deserving students.
