Denver7 went inside Bodies - The Science Within with general manager Renee Ortiz for a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition now open at the Denver Pavilions.

From the plastination process that preserves real human specimens to the awe of seeing the systems that keep us alive every day, the story captures exactly why this experience is resonating with visitors.

“We get up every morning, we go through our day, we don’t think about what’s happening inside our body,” Ortiz told Denver7. “Just taking away all of the tiny details and reading the little facts, everything put together, it’s motivational.”

Bodies - The Science Within is open daily, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., through June 28 at the Denver Pavilions. Presented in English and Spanish.
