Important Parking & Arrival Update for Viva El Gaybingo on Saturday, September 19!
Dear Gaybingo Guest,
Get ready for an unforgettable night of entertainment, cash prizes, and fabulous drag performances at Viva El Gaybingo! However, before you head over to The Rose Room inside of S4 in Dallas, we want to make sure you have all the essential details regarding your arrival.
Viva El Gaybingo is taking place on the exact same day as the Oak Lawn Live: Music & Arts Festival. Because of this major neighborhood event, street closures will directly affect the core of the Cedar Springs Strip - including immediate connecting side streets like Throckmorton - starting in the late morning or midday and remaining closed for the duration of the event.
What You Need to Know About Arrival & Entry:
Doors & Showtimes: Our doors will still open promptly at 5:00 PM, and the show will start sharply at 6:00 PM. Please plan your travel accordingly to allow extra time.
Entering the Venue: Because of the festival footprint, you will need to enter through the festival area to access S4 and the Rose Room.
Festival Access: Oak Lawn Live is completely free to attend, and no ticket or advance registration is required. At the festival entrance, simply mention Gaybingo to the staff. You will be greeted with an optional donation opportunity to support the Cedar Springs Merchant Association's neighborhood work - please note this is entirely optional and is not a required admission ticket.
Parking & Transportation Recommendations:
Public Parking: Limited public parking is located around local businesses and surrounding side streets. Be sure to strictly obey all posted signage to avoid getting ticketed or towed.
Ride Share & Transit: Due to heavy festival crowds and road closures, public transportation and ride-sharing services are highly recommended to ensure you arrive stress-free and on time.
We cannot wait to see your brilliant costumes and game faces as we yell "GAYBINGO!" together while supporting Resource Center's vital programs. Travel safely and see you on September 19!
