No matter how much changes, some things just stay the same.

From the early days to today’s stage, the spirit of the Mr. TBRU™ Contest has always been about showing up, being seen, and having a damn good time while doing it 💜

It truly warms our hearts to see the number of contestants grow each year, and we are grateful to everyone who competes 🐻

Fun fact: before it became Mr. TBRU™, the contest was originally called “Mr. American Bear” in recognition of one of our event’s sponsors at the time.

We are excited to report that our TBRU™ Cub has been keeping busy since taking home the title at Texas Bear Round-Up™ this year!

Over the last couple of months, Cesar has been out representing the TBRU across Texas and beyond! From Austin Kink Weekend to MORBO: In the Woods, to Camp Nackte Kink Weekend, where he even had the honor of judging the Friend of Nackte Competition!

But more importantly, he’s been doing exactly what a titleholder should be doing: showing up, building community, and continuing to grow within our extended leather/kink family.

We LOVE to watch someone really embrace the experience after winning their title, and Cesar has clearly hit the ground running. It truly is wonderful seeing the friendships, travel, visibility, and community involvement that have already come from his journey as TBRU Cub 30.

Keep making us proud, Cesar! We can’t wait to see where the rest of this title year takes you, bubba! Stay safe, take care out there, and we will see ya soon at Texas Bear Round-Up™31: Bears of the Zodiac! 🐻
