Another huge thank you to the mentioned performers: Heart Trio, Water Damage, Jon Irabagon & Dan Oestreicher, Mick Turner w/ Elisabeth Fuscia, & Marc Ribot. This festival would be nothing without their artistry ❤

The vibes were exquisitely laid back and blissful at Otto Benson’s (Otto Benson) set at S&G last month.

We’re trying to lean into this gently enveloping sense of peace as the fall season sets in.
It’s hard to believe a month as gone by since the fest!

Enjoy this beautiful edit of Otto’s set with us from Derrick Alexander.

We’re sending out a big thank you to KORG KORG for partnering with Sound & Gravity this year for the microKORG2 giveaway! We’re grateful to work with such a like-minded collaborator to make the festival the best it can be.

And thank you to our beloved festival-goers for taking some killer shots of their favorite sets over the weekend and participating in the giveaway. Reminisce with us as we enjoy some of those shots here!

At their first performance in Chicago in nearly 20 years, Yellow Swans Pete Swanson simply tore down the house, blew our minds out and absolutely delivered on closing night at Beat Kitchen. We’re so lucky for the opportunity to host them at this year’s festival and witness this iconic duo in full-tilt action. It was a wild night🦢⚠️Enjoy these shots from their performance at Beat Kitchen from the final night of S&G. 📸 Credit: Hungu

We were deeply immersed in Ami Dang’s rich, hypnotic world during her set at Guild Row on Saturday night. As the performance drew to a close, Ami invited the audience to join her in singing a meditative mantra, sending us off on our gentle way. It was a peaceful and gorgeous night to remember! Thank you bella peterson for the stills & Derrick Alexander for the footage/edit, and thank you Ami for the incredible music🙌

Grouper’s set at S&G this year took us on a heavy journey we’ll not soon forget - Blending her signature landscape of live tape looping and reverb-drenched vocals, Grouper completely enraptured us in her soul-rattling universe at the Athenaeum on closing night. A true blessing and we’re so grateful to have experienced Grouper’s intricate, breathing world with you all. Grouper Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture Huge thanks to Derrick Alexander & Julia for capturing the night📸
