Greater Chicago Jewish Festival

Greater Chicago Jewish Festival Six hours of live entertainment, food, artists, organizations, and much more will be at this year's Greater Chicago Jewish Festival! Michael M.

The Greater Chicago Jewish Festival expresses the heart and soul of Jewish Chicago. For one single day it intertwines the sounds, sights and smells of Jewish culture and brings together every facet of the Jewish community; young and old, singles and families, regardless of their religious practices and political commitments. It is a day of celebration and tolerance in which we gather to celebrate

Jewish identity and share Jewish culture with others. I invite you to come and be part of our "town square of Jewish Chicago" and enjoy the Festival with family and friends. Lorge

WE’RE TWO DAYS AWAY!

Is anyone else excited yet?! We’re eagerly setting up the Festival grounds for Sunday. Enjoy some photos of the site-in-progress! (And swipe to see a friend that joined us during set up!!)

AND! Now that we’re so close, we wanted to make sure that more of your big questions are answered. And remember: all of these details are in the linked event below, so be sure to refer to it!

• Timing: The Festival gates open as early as 10 AM, but all activities begin at 11 AM!
• Location: The Festival is located at the Cook County Forest Preserve’s Grove #4 (also called “St. Paul Woods”) in Morton Grove, on the north side of Oakton Street and just west of Lehigh Avenue. If you’re using Uber/Lyft/taxi, set “John Crane Morton Grove” (6400 Oakton St, Morton Grove, IL) as your destination. There will be clear signage on Oakton Street and at the John Crane entrance directing you to parking and drop-off, so follow the signs!
• Parking: The Festival will be sharing the parking lot of “John Crane Morton Grove” and those of the other businesses in the surrounding business park. Once parked, follow signs to walk from the parking lot into the Festival grounds. *NO CARS WILL BE ABLE TO ENTER THE FOREST PRESERVE DIRECTLY.*
• Shuttles: There will be shuttle buses that stop at all of the parking lot areas and drop off at the entrance to the path to the Festival grounds. One of the buses is equipped a lift. This will still require a walk of about 100 meters (~320 feet) or so on a gravel path, before reaching the grass of the Festival grounds.

We are SO excited to celebrate with you all!
