Two questions we get asked a lot:

“Who’s teaching at the Indiana Fiddle Frolic this year?”

Let’s break it down by instrument!

“If I play a different instrument, can I still attend?”

Ukulele, mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, or square-neck guitar? Viola? Autoharp?

As long as your instrument 1) has strings 2) is playable 3) is not electric, you’re welcome to join us. Someone will be able to help you no matter what instrument you play. You should be comfortable enough on your instrument to jam in the keys of G and A.

Thank you to the Battle Ground Police Department - IN for keeping our festival grounds safe all weekend long. Your presence and support help make this festival a welcoming place for everyone, year after year. We truly appreciate all that you do!

A massive thank you from Battle Ground PD to everyone who made this year's Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering one for the books! Great music and vendors, entertaining folks, excellent weather from start to finish, and we even got to hang out with Marshal Jerry Burk who came back out of retirement to run event parking!

Purely by coincidence, our officers happened to decide that the performance area "needed monitoring" right around the time the headliner took the stage, and witnessed Michael Cleveland absolutely kill it! (He escaped before charges could be filed.)

Fun fact about the two officers in this photo — one of them plays the "violin" (whatever that is), and the other plays the radio.

Battle Ground PD is honored to get to play harmony in the background of this fun, peaceful event. See you next year! 🎶

Meet the team behind this year’s Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering!

This festival doesn’t come together by accident. Our board and partners are hard at work all year long to craft our festival; planning, coordinating and problem solving to bring art, music, and community into your backyard!!

If you see any of these folks this weekend, thank them for their hard work. Their care is part of what makes this gathering feel so special.

Hey y'all! We realize there is a lot of information that gets pushed out about the festival and sometimes it can be hard to remember where you saw what, so in the interest of all of our sanity here is a master post with important times and links.

The Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering is this Friday June 26th through Sunday June 28th at the Tippecanoe County Battlefield (200 Battleground Ave, Battle Ground, IN 47920)

This 3 day festival is an open air event and is all ages. (Kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult)

We will have plenty of signs that will direct you to the parking area for the event. Please park in the designated parking area on the East side of the festival grounds. Please do not park in the regular lot for the Battlefield park.

9th Street coming from Lafayette, IN is OPEN! As far as we know 43 and I65 are also open!

If you plan to camp, you may start setting up in designated areas starting at 9am on Friday June 26th.

If you purchased an advance 3 day pass you may check in at the main gate starting at 2pm. If you don't have an advance weekend pass, you may purchase a pass starting at 5pm. You must have a weekend pass to camp. https://www.indianafiddlersgathering.org/camping-info

We will also have day passes available at the gate for each day of the event Friday ($30), Saturday ($50), Sunday ($10) for those who aren't planning to stay the whole weekend. There are also free events on Saturday in the morning including a children's concert, workshops, open stage, and a square dance at 6pm. https://www.indianafiddlersgathering.org/2026-festival-performers

There will be food trucks on site throughout the weekend so be sure to come hungry! People's Brewing Company will also be on site serving beer!

We added another hour of workshops on Sunday as well as more performers so please plan to stick around! Food and drinks will still be available and we will conclude the event with the ringing of the bell and a farewell jam around 4pm!
