One of the country’s most popular duos, John Torode and Lisa Faulkner will be in our Cookery Theatre Saturday 19th July at the Festival of Food and Drink.

Their work spans cookery books, TV shows, a YouTube channel. The couple’s inaugural bestselling cookery book – John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen was shortly followed by their ITV series, John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, now in its ninth season. Their new YouTube channel featuring approachable recipes and inspired hacks was an instant hit– John & Lisa’s Kitchen & Home quickly gained over 13k subscribers and over 360k views.

Bringing the flavour to the Cookery Theatre on Saturday 19th September at the Festival of Food and Drink will be Dean Edwards.

Dean made his TV chef debut on ITV’s This Morning where his friendly personality left an impression on viewers. His family-friendly cooking style and easy-going approach to the kitchen proved immensely popular with millions of viewers. He has appeared on numerous television programmes including BBC Morning Live, Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch, ITV’s John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, BBC’s Take on the Takeaway, ITV’s Market Kitchen and Channel 4’s The Big Eat. As well as his many TV appearances.

Joining the Sunday line-up is the ever-popular Francesco Mattana 🍝

Born and raised in Sardinia, Francesco has built a huge online following of more than 2.5 million across social media, inspiring home cooks with his passion for authentic Italian food and sustainable cooking.

After founding a successful Italian restaurant in Australia at just 23, Francesco went on to become Head Teaching Chef at Jamie Oliver's Cookery School and has collaborated with leading food brands and cookery schools across the UK.

Francesco’s debut cookbook Eat Like a Sardinian, Live to 100 will be published by Murdoch Books on 28th May 2026.
