We can't wait!

Are you local to Retford or the surrounding villages? Fancy a stroll around a brand-new event in Retford Market Square this Sunday, 10am-4pm.?

Spearheaded by Little Hummingbird Events and supported by staff and members of The Hummingbird Collective (which resides on the Market Square itself, inside the former NatWest Bank), this event will be a charming showcase of local entrepreneurs, farmers, growers, crafters, foodies, and more.

We will bring the Market Square to life with food and gift inspiration, handmade goods and local produce, which should bring extra footfall into the town and benefit all local businesses.

If you are a local business opening in Retford on Sunday, please jump on this train and give us a like and share. Likewise, tag your own business and we will re-share you too.

Special thanks to Bassetlaw District Council for supporting this project and for being so tremendously helpful throughout the process. Thank you also to the Mayor. She is great champion for all we do for Retford. Thank you Hilary.

Ten Green Bottles and Rondo Lounge will be open for your hot drinks and delights.

Our survey for members of the public is now *live*

We would love to hear from you if you did attend or didn't attend.

This year was our biggest ever event. We created our first digital event guide, offered Kings' Park seating, put toilets in better locations, and tried to offer a full day of free entertainment for children but we know we can still do more.

We know we need to work on signage, toilets, bins (our vendors let us down on the day and provided only half) and bus services/ additional parking. However, we would love to find out what else we can improve on.

There are definitely things we want to improve in the future: - bins - signage - toilets - availability of public transport and parking We would also welcome your other suggestions to help us improve future events For our GDPR policy, email [email protected]

Absolutely amazing displays and interactions with the public! Thank you so much for joining us.
