The Trans Lady Sings comes to ARK this Saturday.

Two years ago Alice d’Lumiere, performance poet, self-confessed outsider in gender and 50+ late starter in opera, challenged herself to overcome a childhood inability to sing. Alice d’Lumiere now reveals if she’s able to hold a note. Contralto? Baritone? No Limits!
 
The Trans Lady Sings combines prose, verse, comedy and a dash of gender-fluid performance art, with original music and possibly some foolhardy attempts at the classical repertoire…
