To help us enjoy Beaujolais Nouveau here in Margate, and are cooking a three course menu in their wine bar Cantina Caruso.

Chicken liver parfait & grape pomace mustard

There’ll be pouring plenty of lovely nouveau, some Beaujolais cru, and some Italian carbonic maceration wines too.

For all of Little LOW you will be able to sample wines from all over the world at venues across Margate and be in with a chance to win some incredible prizes - from long lunches at amazing restaurants and magnums of burgundy through to vineyard tours around the Kent countryside. All you have to do is pick up a card at any of the participating venues, get it stamped at three different locations and we will pop your name into the hat to be in with a chance of winning! For Little LOW (17-21 November) we are beginning with something a little strange. We are launching the first ever LOW Crawl. A race from to .margate stopping off at all the venues taking part to taste the various wines on offer. Get your running shoes on and put your drinking boots on top - it will be cold, it will be wet and it will be dark…. But it will be fun!!!

Well hello again…. Just a little update, we are doing a little event across Margate in November that includes a race, some special wines on by the glass, a chance to win some amazing prizes and a few Beaujolais Nouveau events too. Keep an eye on this page….

Friday night at ‘s La Cantina from 7pm with live music from 8pm. 🍷🎶

We’ve got 5 wonderful friends and winemakers flying over for this year’s all the way from back home: .de.matt .pizzillo 🍇

On Friday night we’ll be pouring wines from them all in La Cantina, and Donato from is making cocktails with his wines. 🍸

and Chilly Steve are playing music too so it’ll be a wonderful evening - we hope to see here❤️ no need to book!

From fizz to funk: the past and future of British Wine

‘British Wine’ was once shorthand for bad imported grape mush. Not any more. The rise of sustainable methods, youthful experimentation and, dare we say it, a new climate, mean that Britain is no longer the home of just a few fine sparklings but a whole roster of dynamic reds, pinks and oranges. On Friday 4th July 6.30-8pm, Abbie Moulton, author of New British Wine, will be opening a selection of bottles for you to taste charting the transition from fizz to funk. Tickets are very limited and a selection of Dory’s sharing dishes for this unique event.
