𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 play their biggest Manchester show yet at New Century on the 21st February.

Tickets on sale Friday at 10am

Building on the layering of worlds and environments that define their second album, caroline 2, the band present an updated stage show for a special February 2027 tour. The band will perform the whole of caroline 2, the songs renewed for the stage in a culmination of the touring of their second album, and a hint of things to come.

caroline 2, was released in May 2025 to incredible acclaim, achieving a Pitchfork Best New Music, The Quietus and Stereogum Album of the Week, and rave reviews from NME, DIY, Line of Best Fit, Clash and beyond. The album explores juxtapositions of poppy autotuned melody, arrhythmic experiments and heartfelt harmonies, with lead single ‘Tell me I never knew that’ featuring Caroline Polachek. The album has introduced the band to a new fanbase, going far beyond the cult following of their earthier, repetition-laden 2022 debut caroline, selling out shows across the UK, US, Europe, Japan and China.

A whole 20 years since the their last show in Manchester by our count play our final show at The White Hotel on December 12th - tickets on sale Monday at 10am.

The alternative rock/experimental/post-hardcore band from Washington, UK drew critical acclaim for their debut 2004 mini album All Roads To Fault, which was followed in 2005 by the album Ignoto. In 2006, the band released Print Is Dead Vol 1, a side project album featuring collaborations with the likes of Tom Vek and members of The Futureheads and Reuben among others. The band's second full-length album, They Came From The Sun, came out the following year in 2007 but they disbanded shortly after. Returning in 2023 to play a charity gig for Newcastle venue The Cluny, they then went on to play that year's Arctangent Festival - this is their first live activity since then.
