One week since Proud Fest. 🥹🌈

How has it already been a whole week?!

A week ago, we brought LGBTQ+ families together for a day filled with music, laughter, colour, community and so much Pride. 💖

We're still thinking about all the incredible moments from the day, and feeling so grateful to everyone who came along and made Proud Fest so special.

Thank you to every family, volunteer, performer, host, sponsor, partner and everyone behind the scenes who helped make it happen.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made Proud Fest possible! 🌈💖

Proud Fest wouldn't happen without the incredible people and organisations who help bring it to life.

A massive thank you to our sponsors and supporters Great Northern Warehouse, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Forever Manchester, Greek Grill House and The Character Warehouse for supporting Proud Fest and helping us create such a special day for LGBTQ+ families.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers for giving their time, and to our brilliant hosts Sara Gosney-Hughes and Aida H Dee The Storytime Drag Queen for keeping the day full of energy, joy and Pride! 🌈

And of course, a huge thank you to all of our performers for putting on such an incredible show, and to Play Events Maker for all their hard work behind the scenes to bring Proud Fest to life.

After months of planning, Proud Fest is finally here! 🎉

Today, more than 1,000 people will come together at Great Northern Warehouse to celebrate LGBTQ+ families, make memories and enjoy a day full of community, connection and fun. 💖

Expect live entertainment, Drag Queen Storytime, family activities, community organisations and plenty of Pride! 🌈✨

It wouldn’t be Manchester without a little bit of rain in the forecast, would it?

We’re keeping an eye on the weather and, if needed, our indoor stage will be available, so a rainy forecast won’t stop us from having a brilliant day!

We’re used to Manchester weather. Come rain or shine, Proud Fest is still on! 💖

We’re so excited that Rachel, one of our amazing Proud 2 b Parents families and a talented community artist, will be joining us at Proud Fest 2026 to create an incredible interactive installation: There’s No Place Like Home.

Designed especially for children and young people, this giant cardboard playhouse will be a space to explore, imagine and create. Families can crawl through interactive tunnels and dens, draw portraits of their own families to hang proudly on the walls, colour in different parts of the installation, and help bring the house to life throughout the day.

It’s all about celebrating the many different ways a family can look and creating a place where every child feels that they belong.

We can’t wait to see this wonderful artwork come to life and watch our families make it their own. 💖
