POST 1 - It’s time to meet members of the Bad Science team, introducing the cast 🧪
EMILY BOLD (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist from and based in Manchester. Her work intersects neurodivergent accessible practice with absurd storytelling. Their work often supports underrepresented voices and artists such as those who are q***r, neurodivergent and/or disabled. Emily’s practice exists within theatremaking (NYT, Bolton Octagon, HOME), visual art (a modest show), creative captioning (The Lowry, Camden People’s Theatre, Leeds Playhouse) and access consultancy (Royal Exchange Theatre, Z-Arts, Factory International, The Lowry). She is a creative member and Accessibility Consultant with Switch MCR.
SARA ABANUR (she/her) is an actor and theatre maker known for her performances with HOME, BFI, Royal Exchange Theatre, Sheffield Theatres among more. A proud member of SwitchMCR, she thrives on creating work that is an inclusive experience for all. Sara directs with communities at the Royal Exchange Theatre, bringing people together to unleash the drama and razzle-dazzle that’s always been at the heart of storytelling – because let’s face it, there’s never a dull moment when creating theatre!
ELEANOR HAIGH (she/her) is a theatre and cabaret performer, a writer, dancer and all round creative! She has been a So La Flair Theatre Resident Artist since 2021. With So La Flair, her recent endeavours include cabaret hosting and performing in So La Selects Live (Contact Theatre), Farewell to Gay Pop Summer, Fantasia in Paradise (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), The Fabric of Us (Science And Industry Museum), Winter Wanderlust and more! Other projects include the resurgence of The Rug Of Identity (Kings Arms Theatre) and Aphrodite’s House Party by Night People (Warrington Arts Festival).
