Saturday 22nd November: A new journey awaits under the lights for the BJJ community!

The team behind Submission Series and Young Subs is proud to announce our most exciting project yet 🔥

This will be a Sub-Only format with multiple mats being put down ready for action. You have the opportunity to enter multiple weight divisions for a chance to win more medals 🥇🥈🥉

The events will have a rowdy electric atmosphere in this circus environment that will be used for more mat time plus absolute cash prizes will be up for grabs in the juniors and adults divisions 👏🏻

Are you a gi fighter, nogi or both? We’ve got you covered 🥋🤼 but that’s not all, welcome to the future = The MMA PIT 🥊

The scene is evolving, we must also adapt if we want the next generation of fighters to shine through!

The PIT will be an exciting battle ground for juniors and adult fighters so their skills can be tested! The ruleset has been put together by proper MMA / BJJ coaches that have experienced fighting on all the big shows across the world 💥 fancy doing both sides? You can at Grapplix!

SS and YS will continue as normal. Grapplix will be an exciting addition and a fighter’s new playground for testing out their techniques against other competitors regularly 👀

Another event in the books, we saw great celebrations on stage from the young stars as they let their personalities shine 💯 title eliminators were clinched, voices were heard in songs by all the mums 👏🏻 fighters accepted the underdog status and came out on top!

We want to say a massive THANK YOU… I know we say this a lot but you guys have trusted in us since day 1 ❤️ we are still figuring out what works and what doesn’t work, but one thing is certain, we will always try our best to deliver something special for you all!

Kids, give your parents and coaches a big high five because they sacrifice everything for you ✋

We see great battles on the mats and friendships made stronger off it 💯🤝 we will do our part to help the next generation of UK fighters take all the necessary steps needed to become the best version of themselves! THIS IS YOUR STAGE… DO YOUR THING!

On that note, we have seen fighters get off to flying starts, we have also seen patience make fighters wait a bit longer… shout out to Abigail Frain for a great example, she’s now won 3 times in the last few events… trust the process and understand that everyone’s time is only around the corner 🙏👏🏻

We have a new champion in the house at 45kg in Noah Tyndall 🏆 which means Liverpool Combat Academy have their first title holder which is very well deserved to coach Loz and his team! We look forward to watching Noah’s title defences as he stated himself “anyone can get it” 👀

Young Subs 6 it’s fight week!! 🚨

This Saturday we are back at The Fed in Newcastle for another solid 30+ card!

The Road to Manchester continues here as the final build up stage 🔥 we got some brilliant fights that features all the young guns and some epic gi battles 🥋

The Main Event will be for the 45kg championship title as the man in hot form Odin Dawson takes on the Immaf champ in Noah Tyndall 🔥👀 WHAT A FIGHT!!!

Co-Main Event will feature a home favourite in Amelia Cowell as she battles Leia Dawson who is looking to spoil the party 👏🏻

Young Subs 5 Appreciation Post 🙏🔥❤️

The day itself belonged to the AVT Leeds family as coach Tom led his team to 10/15 wins, two belt promotions was handed out and we celebrated the life of Matthew Green 💚

The event had everything with most saying it’s the best the venue we have been in so far 👏 the lights and production was next level! Even the PPV steam worked perfectly 👀😂 adjustments have been made!

We have a new champion at 35kg and 80kg in Noah Wright and Josh Laidler 🏆👏 we will be messaging you boys this week once we have caught up with everything 🏃‍♂️

Fighter of the day goes to Layton after wins on YS then he completed the full sweep by winning on SS later that evening in an incredible… “bloody war” 🩸😂

Kitty and Daisy delivered a fantastic battle that was forced into OT 👀 a credit to them both for having a champions mindset…

One gave up 5 years and weight, the other took on 3 fights to get other people on the show… that’s what this show is all about 💯 family mindset all across the board!

Sub Wars Team Champions goes to the Armbar Angels for collecting 7/8 points 🏆🔥 3 sub wins and 1 via decision!

Young Subs 5 live at The Point in Sunderland 🔥

We have another fantastic high level 35+ card that features some of the top grapplers in the country!

This event will be a special tribute to the late Matthew Green of AVT as coach Tom Crosby has rounded up his troops so we can all come together to celebrate his life 🙏🏻👏🏻 money will also be going to charity.

The Road To Manchester which will be our biggest showdown yet starts here!! It continues at The Fed, Newcastle in 4 weeks time as all the young grapplers aim build on their records so they can be booked in for a title shot on September 13 🏆🔥

Young Subs has only been around for 5 months, we are still learning and yes we will make mistakes along the way but without the fighters, coaches and parents there is no show so THANK YOU AGAIN!

Our goal is to deliver the best platform possible for the next generation of superstars 🤝💯🙏🏻

We would like to apologise for all the confusion that occurred before the Ruby and Emily fight took place. We believe in showing respect on and off the mats to everyone and we will always stand up for what’s right.

The rules were agreed weeks in advance and the coach at Delariva has since messaged me to apologise for the situation on behalf of his team. I told him that it was not him personally at fault, but instead it was others involved. If there was any dispute it must be done in the rules meeting not on the mats.

We must remember that we have a fantastic community that is brought together by multiple clubs that all bring something unique.

Finally, a massive shout out to all the staff ❤️ what a team!

It’s been a long journey but we can finally say that we are here and we are ready to make a statement in the capital as the best junior card in the UK is unleashed 🔥💯

We promised the Scottish people that we would deliver and after seeing record numbers by our travelling teams and the local support, we just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone involved 🙏🏻

Team Scotland vs Team England for the Submission Cup 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 we want to hear you all as loud as possible on every match!!!!

A massive thank you to our coaches Loz Fitzpatrick and Robbie McNab they have been absolutely fantastic and there is already talk behind the scenes for Team UK vs Team World in the future where these two gentleman will lead the teams out once again 💯👏🏻

Stoomboy is what Scotland needs if they want to really push the scene and we would like to say thank you again brother for everything!

We have the Brazilians taking on some of the best fighters in the UK plus Europeans are also flying in for this showdown 🌎

We have split the card up into 5 sections to make things interesting throughout the day and we recognised how strong the line up has to offer… we like to change the game up from time to time 👊🏻

Young Subs will finally get to crown a Queen with two belts being on the line 🏆 will Megan Stacey continue her undefeated run in nogi or will Frankie Monaghan prove to be too much in part 2 in this Co-Main Event 👀

The rematch is also on in the Main Event so will it be the same story again for Daisy Bowers or will Anayah Ullah use the home crowd to her advantage!
