🐾 Dogs on leads welcome The Castle is a ruin with rooms and towers to explore. It has one of only 5 nearly complete Norman Round Chapels which was re-roofed in 2019 and is now a very romantic wedding location. Ludlow Castle is open to visitors throughout

the year and hosts a variety of events. There are days where we are closed or on reduced opening hours so make sure you visit our website when planning your visit. We are also home to The Castle Cafe and The Castle Gallery, which are both free to enter.

🛍️ Browse the castle’s own gift shop, packed with books, gifts and locally inspired finds
🎨 Visit the Castle Gallery to discover work from independent artists and makers
☕ Pause for lunch, coffee or cake at Chapter 66

The castle is open daily from 10am - 5pm (with last entries at 4.15pm). Tickets available online via our website or on arrival in the ticket office.

A good few days ahead for exploring, slowing down a little, and soaking up nearly 1,000 years of history.

🎬 Adventure Cinema returns to Ludlow Castle this September! 🎬

A reminder for film lovers (and anyone looking for a rather good evening out) that Adventure Cinema will be back within the castle walls from the 18th–20th September.

This year’s line-up includes:

• Dirty Dancing – Friday 18th September
• Mamma Mia! ExtrABBAganza – Saturday 19th September
• Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration – Sunday 20th September

With the castle ruins as a backdrop and the sun setting over Ludlow, it’s always a special atmosphere. Bring a blanket or camping chair, pack a picnic, and settle in for an evening under the open sky.
