Ah, I'm so tired. I forgot the hardest part of this is often the long miles home in the dark. But still, I got the loveliest of welcomes at Brimfield Folk Club as I worked through 4 new (well new-ish) numbers, all fingers and thumbs. But love will get us through - and love was in the room. It's a singing crowd and we sang the chorus of one of my songs for the first time ever, which made me well up a bit. You lot, eh ❤️

It will be wonderful to welcome Alan Jenkins Musik back to the folk club this month. Alan has been slacking of late, for no apparent reason, but has managed to cobble together a four song set of new material! We greatly look forward to his return to hear his excuses for missing his last appearance.

Sitting and chilling at Moseley, and generally looking forward to Monday when I'm doing some tunes at Brimfield Folk Club . Now, Brimmers, be kind to me as I wander through a couple of tunes about nothing in particular, forgetting important bits at my leisure and I do that joke again about "this is a new one, but then they are all new to you" 😄
But then, the stage is mine for a bit. I've been away for the longest time, to dark places with bright lights. However stumbly and nervous I am it will be good to be back among friends ❤️
