Teme Leisure Aquathlon
The inaugural Teme Leisure Aquathlon will take place on Sunday 21st February. Competitors will face a 400m indoor pool swim followed by a scenic 10k run (majority on tarmac) through the rolling countryside of South Shropshire through the shadows of Ludlow Castle and finishing within the grounds of the Leisure Centre.

Aplolgies for the radio silence....It's been a while but we have been watching and waiting to make an announcement on this year's event.

As it stands at the moment this year there WILL be a Ludlow Sprint Triathlon. Entries are open.

We would like to reassure you that if we cannot go ahead and the event has to be cancelled for whatever reason all entrants will receive a full refund or a transfer to next year.

We are putting measures in place to ensure our event is COVID-secure therefore we have limited entries. Fingers crossed the restrictions we are experiencing right now do not get any worse as the year goes on and the sun is shining for us on 26th September 🤞

Get your entry in fast as I have no doubt we will sell out fast.

On what would have been London Marathon day we are asking you to join in and take up the 2.6 challenge.

Lots of charities have been hit massively with support and sponsorship money now not being recieved by all of the events that have been cancelled or postponed.

People of all ages are taking on The 2.6 Challenge with a host of activities – from walking, running or cycling 2.6 miles, juggling for 2.6 minutes, to holding online workouts with 26 friends. The ideas and options are endless! You can take part whatever your age or ability. After all, we’re not looking for superheroes. We’re looking for Home Heroes.

Hi All
Thank you all very much indeed for the positive way that you completed our 5th Teme Leisure Aquathlon yesterday. We were very pleased with how the day went and thank you all for braving the weather. Please give us a review on here, or drop me an email back as I would love to hear your feedback.

RESULTS - Here they are. You will find them in overall positions and Category Rankings. These results have also been Emailed to all that entered.

SUPPORTERS – A big Thank you must be given to Wenlock Water who provided your water at the end, Ludlow Farm Shop who provided those lovely Brownies

Teme Leisure Aquathlon 2020 done. The sun did come out for a split second today. Massive well done to all that braved the weather and wasn't put off. Biggest thanks to all the marshals that helped me this morning; Paul Francis, Denise Boden, Graham Boden, Grace Johnson, Vickie Minton, Steve Adams, Steve Minton, Jon Lewis, Trudi, Tegan and Cody Hassan. Claire Webb, Ross Taylor, Richard Johnson, Kit and Frank, Steve Price and finally Chris Griffiths and Matt Collins for helping with the clear down. So very very much appreciated.

**BASIC RULES**
Again we are aware that for some of you this is your first event so here are some of the basic rules:

- Backstroke is not permitted in pool swims
- Swimmers must start in the water. No dive starts.
- Wetsuits & Shin Guards are not allowed
- Wear and have clearly visible the official race number, facing forward.
- Not run with a bare torso
- Not dispose of litter on the course and this includes Transition.
- Headphone(s) and headset(s), mobile phones or any other electronic listening communication device are not permitted to be used
