The Attic is a community-focused, multifunctional venue and creative space in Leeds city centre.

Alongside our 200 capacity events room, we offer additional space for creative practice, such as rehearsal, songwriting, mixing and teaching.

LEEDS ALBUM LAUNCH - December 15th
We have our Leeds date announced now.
Excited to play in the new room that The Attic has opened up! I think this is a really exciting (fairly new venue ish) in Leeds and we wanted to celebrate our latest record ‘It’s Always About Liberation’ there, largely because when we were recording this record, Dave who runs the venue really helped us out with some long rehearsals through the winter - blasting hot air into what was a very stripped back warehouse at the time… the venue has changed and grown so much since then and its an exciting spot for a lot of gigs that I would recommend checking out.

Always special to do a home town gig!
We hope you’ll come down to this one, Leeds! It’s gunna be a special one for us - looking forward to showing you what we’ve been up to.

We're excited to welcome you to K Walker's ‘I want ur hands on me (unrequited)’ this week, part of this year's Light Night Leeds . Here's everything you need to know!

The installation will be presented in The Attic's ground-floor events space, with step-free access and an accessible toilet.

The installation contains flashing lights, haze from a smoke machine, loud music and images of mild nudity. Earplugs, ear defenders and chairs with backs will be available for visitors who need them.

Guide and assistance animals are welcome.

The Attic is a 15-minute walk from Leeds Train Station. It is served by bus numbers 12, 13, 13A, 47, 47A, 74 and 75, all stopping a 1-minute walk away at Crown Point. There is no designated parking. Paid parking is available at RCP Sheaf Street, approximately a two-minute walk away.

Parking is expected to be busy during Light Night, so we recommend planning your journey in advance. Park and Ride services are also available, please see Light Night for details.

📣 ARTIST OPPORTUNITY! Are you a northern artist working in (and around) jazz? Join us at The Attic in Leeds on Monday 5th October for an informal day of creative collaboration and conversation hosted in partnership with Leeds Jazz Festival and JazzLeeds.

At our Artist Development Day, we’ll be hosting a panel on building northern ecosystems and how musicians can find (and help build) the networks that support a sustainable career, jam sessions to top and tail the day, workshops on marketing yourself as an independent artist, practical advice on booking gigs and how to approach promoters, and digging into the topic of our theme for the day: ‘Success on Your Own Terms.’

This event is aimed at artists but promoters are equally welcome to join us. We’re particularly interested in connecting with artists who would be considered mid-career or maybe re-entering after a break from the industry as we’ll be focusing on these perspectives through the day.
