We have been made aware that a former member of our team has recently expressed transphobic views on facebook. We are very upset by this, and we are very sorry if this has upset anyone else.

The person in question actually left Imaginarium a while before we closed, and they most certainly will not be working with us in the future.

We are, and will always be, an inclusive and friendly space and collective, and we welcome everyone with the exception of anyone who wishes to promote bigotry and fascism.

Also - our apologies for the shoddy presentation of this post - we wanted to get this message across as soon as we were made aware of the situation. We felt this was far more important than a nice design for the words we had to say.

Happy new year everyone 😊 2025 was a difficult year for Imaginarium - but also not all bad. We were buzzed to launch our label, host some great parties, and we haven’t lost sight of our plans… In fact, we have some exciting news in the pipeline… Not saying anything more yet, but keep your eye on our socials for more on this soon…

In the meantime, we’d like to thank everyone who has shown their support for us. Last month we collaborated with .eiger on a fundraising event, and what a party that was! A little belated, but here are some videos and photos from the night. Big love to everyone who got involved xx

Founder and resident of the legendary parties, ALC ( ) is a serious digger, and we are very pleased to have him on the line up for x .eiger , playing back to back with fellow Pic N Mix ressie Joe Reece ( ), who is also a resident of our own parties.

ALC was a regular behind the decks at our old space, and as well as making regular appearances in Leeds, playing for parties such as , as well as his own events, he has played in various spots in the UK, including a recent gig at .london for . He has also played further afield, with a guest spot for .toys in Marseille, where he played b2b with Joe.

After spending years collecting records this enables him to provide an eclectic sound when it comes to his sets. He will be playing b2b with .______

In addition to the 12 hour party that we will be co-hosting with .eiger , we will also have a record fair starting at 4pm with our good friend joining forces with our sister shop to host...

Peppermint Records is a Leeds-based record store tucked right in the heart of the city, slinging sounds for heads who know what’s what. Expect a steady rotation of house, techno, trance, garage, breaks, and all the bits in between.

After a summer in Europe on an inter-rail digging mission, the shop came back stacked with wax from the ‘90s as well as newer releases. Since then, the crates haven’t stopped growing with fresh collections landing on the regular to ensure there’s always something new to get your ears round.

But it’s not just about the records, Peppermint’s starting to move into throwing their own parties, in-store sessions, and pop-up events — all with a focus on spotlighting local talent and sticking to the essence of the underground, gritty sounds, DIY spirit, and a genuine love for the culture.
