Done isn't the same as done right 🤖
CRIS-0 is a new "brain" for robots from Aether AI. It predicts what each action should do, checks whether it worked, and changes plans when it didn't. In a household demo, the grinder was moved mid-task, and instead of pouring beans onto the empty counter, the robot changed its path and poured them into the machine. When a hand got in the way of a closing microwave door, the robot stopped, waited, and carried on once it was safe.
That kind of awareness could help robots take on everyday chores at home, safely around people.
