S!NCRO is a collaborative project by Alex Casteleiro, Guillem Llotje and Carles Rigual, evolving from electronic music into modular synthesis, improvisation and live experimentation.

From Sónar and RESET with Errequeerre to fabraicoats.fabricadecreacio and BONE x IKLECTIK Festival, their work constantly moves between sound, movement and unexpected places.

For their first JUST MODULAR appearance, expect rhythmic ambient, IDM, jazz, house, blips, blops and plenty of happy accidents. No script. Just vibes. ⚡

S!NCRO is part of Barcelona Modular Society and currently based at La Hormigonera Col•lectiu Cultural.

Más de 10 años de experimentación electrónica, danza, performance y locura audiovisual.

S!NCRO es un proyecto colaborativo de Alex Casteleiro, Guillem Llotje y Carles Rigual, que ha evolucionado desde la música electrónica hacia la síntesis modular, la improvisación y la experimentación en directo.

Desde Sónar y RESET junto a Errequeerre hasta fabraicoats.fabricadecreacio y BONE x IKLECTIK Festival, su trabajo se mueve constantemente entre el sonido, el movimiento y los lugares inesperados.

En su primera aparición en JUST MODULAR, S!NCRO presentará una sesión improvisada y ecléctica que pasará por ambient rítmico, IDM, jazz, house, blips, blops y un montón de accidentes felices. Sin guion. Solo vibes. ⚡

S!NCRO forma parte de Barcelona Modular Society y actualmente tiene su base en La Hormigonera Col•lectiu Cultural.

THE STORY CONTINUES 🌒

SELTEN has been part of JUST MODULAR since the beginning. As the founder and resident live act, he has performed at every edition while constantly exploring what modular performance can be.

His journey started at just 14, DJing in the Netherlands before evolving through vinyl, CDJs, timecode, drum machines, samplers and hardware synths. In 2017, modular became part of that evolution, opening up a new way to approach live performance.

Nine years later, SELTEN continues to push that approach, from prepared performances to complete improvisation.

For JUST MODULAR 6, SELTEN goes fully improvised. No prepared material, no fixed direction. Just the system, the room and whatever happens in the moment ⚡

LA HISTORIA CONTINÚA 🌒

SELTEN forma parte de JUST MODULAR desde el principio. Como fundador y artista residente, ha actuado en todas las ediciones mientras sigue explorando todo lo que puede ofrecer una actuación modular.

Su historia comenzó con solo 14 años, pinchando en los Países Bajos, y evolucionando después a través del vinilo, CDJs, sistemas timecode, cajas de ritmos, samplers y sintetizadores hardware. En 2017, el modular pasó a formar parte de esa evolución, abriendo una nueva forma de abordar el directo.

Nueve años después, SELTEN sigue llevando ese enfoque más allá, desde actuaciones preparadas hasta la improvisación total.

Para JUST MODULAR 6, SELTEN apuesta por la improvisación absoluta. Sin material preparado, sin una dirección fija. Solo el sistema, la sala y todo lo que pueda suceder en el momento ⚡

MILLHOFF returns to JUST MODULAR 🌒

This time, he brings his own solo modular live set to Barcelona. Fully improvised and built entirely in the moment ⚡

Matthias is no stranger to the JUST GROOVES family. Back in 2016, he performed at the 4th edition of JUST GROOVES in Nijmegen as part of INSTANT alongside Johannes Steyer. Since then, Matthias has become a good friend, making it even more special to have him back 10 years later.

As part of INSTANT , Matthias has performed in legendary Berlin clubs like Watergate Club and KATER . INSTANT has also released music via Watergate. Together with Joe Valentin Steyer , he co-created the RMBA-20, the world’s biggest sequencer.

Before diving deep into modular, Matthias also made his mark on the German hip-hop and pop scene as Matze Million, producing and engineering for artists including Prinz Pi - Gesellschaftsbeobachter & Wortakrobat and working on productions that reached #1 in the German charts.

MILLHOFF vuelve a JUST MODULAR 🌒

Esta vez, llega a Barcelona con su propio live set modular en solitario. Totalmente improvisado y construido íntegramente en el momento ⚡

Matthias no es ningún desconocido para la familia JUST GROOVES. En 2016 actuó en la 4ª edición de JUST GROOVES en Nijmegen como parte de INSTANT junto a Johannes Steyer. Desde entonces, Matthias se ha convertido en un buen amigo, lo que hace aún más especial tenerlo de vuelta 10 años después.

Como parte de INSTANT , Matthias ha actuado en clubs legendarios de Berlín como Watergate Club y KATER . INSTANT también ha publicado música a través de Watergate. Junto a Joe Valentin Steyer , co-creó la RMBA-20, el secuenciador más grande del mundo.

Behind ICKX is Jan Ickx, a Berlin based funk&soul DJ and live electronic artist, bringing his modular synthesizer into the mix for this live performance

Expect bouncing bass, broken beats and melancholic melodies, drawing from a rich musical background that moves between electronic music, classical, hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, afro and beyond. All brought together through a deep love for sound and live performance ⚡
