We are thrilled to welcome back James Harry to speak as part of our Keynote program this September.

James Nexw’Kalus-Xwalacktun Harry is a Sḵwx̱wú7mesh artist living and working in shíshálh Nation territory. Raised in a family of artists, he learned Salish design and carving from his father Xwalacktun. His practice draws deeply on ancestral knowledge while challenging the systemic structures that have long marginalized Indigenous voices. Through collaborations with cities, developers, architects, and institutions, Harry embeds Indigenous leadership and worldview into contemporary environments.

We are thrilled to announce that Mandy Farmer will be speaking on the Keynote Stage, presented by Vicostone.

Mandy Farmer is the Chair of Hotels Canada and CEO of Accent Inns Inc., which operates eight hotels and a restaurant across three brands—Accent Inns, Hotel Zed and ROAR. In 2024, Accent Inns Inc. received the Tourism Association of Canada’s Employer of the Year award. Mandy was named RBC Women of Influence Entrepreneur of the Year (Excellence category) in 2020, her company received the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s Business of the Year award in 2018, and she was recognized as Hotelier of the Year by Hotelier magazine in 2017.
