We are excited to annoucne the return of Mark Krebs to Studio North.

Mark Krebs was founded in 2019 by Montreal based designer Davin Cowper with the goal of partnering with weavers in Northern India to produce a collection of contemporary hand made wool rugs based in traditional techniques.

See stunning ceramic work by Grey Sage Studio this September at IDS' Studio North.

Based in the Okanagan, founder Selena Lin Blewett describes their work as 'Realizing functional works of art to be handled and experienced is the intention behind my living art practice. Embracing the functionality of the 2D and 3D forms of vessels and tile, I work to achieve in clay what I explore on paper and canvas by artfully merging marks and motifs.'

We are delighted to welcome .acoustics back to IDS Vancouver this September.

Hush Acoustics is a Canadian-based manufacturer and design-driven company specializing in sound-absorbing solutions for interior spaces. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Manitoba, Hush develops products including wall panels, acoustic ceiling systems, baffles, and dividers.

We are thrilled to welcome back James Harry to speak as part of our Keynote program this September.

James Nexw’Kalus-Xwalacktun Harry is a Sḵwx̱wú7mesh artist living and working in shíshálh Nation territory. Raised in a family of artists, he learned Salish design and carving from his father Xwalacktun. His practice draws deeply on ancestral knowledge while challenging the systemic structures that have long marginalized Indigenous voices. Through collaborations with cities, developers, architects, and institutions, Harry embeds Indigenous leadership and worldview into contemporary environments.
