Three longtime volunteers were presented with Lifetime Memberships last evening. Please join us in congratulating Doug Jefferson, Sandra Howatt and Paul Howatt for their many years of dedication and service!

Volunteering at the Fergus Fall Fair has been a longtime Jefferson family tradition. Doug joined our board of directors in 1985 and served as president in 1991 and 1992. He has helped with the admission gates, truck and tractor pulls, set-up and tear-down and more.

Paul and Sandra got involved in 1982 and have been volunteering ever since.

Sandra has been part of the youth, ambassador, advertising and entertainment committees. She joined our board of directors in 1985 and served as president of women’s homecraft from 1988 to 1990. Sandra has been coordinating entertainment at the Fergus Fall Fair for 35 years.

Paul's involvement has taken place behind the scenes, including helping at the truck and tractor pull track, coordinating and installing lights around the fairgrounds and transporting equipment. His hard work and quiet dedication is appreciated by many.

We are so fortunate to have volunteers like these three. Thank you very much for your outstanding contributions! 👏

Heading to the Fergus Fall Fair? Leave the parking hunt behind and hop on our FREE shuttle!

The shuttle bus will run continuously between these two locations during the busiest fair hours:

- Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex
AO Smith parking lot – 599 Hill St. W., Fergus

Friday: 5 p.m. to Midnight
Saturday: 12 noon to Midnight
