⚙️ Calling All Animators! ⚙️

The Fergus Cogs & Clockwork Steampunk Festival is looking for original 1–2 minute family-friendly animated shorts inspired by the imagination, innovation, and adventure of steampunk.

Selected films will be showcased during the festival's outdoor theatre presentations on September 11 & 12, with additional screenings during the intermission of the Elemental Sprocket concert. Festival attendees travel from across Ontario, Canada, and the United States, making this a unique opportunity to share your work with a passionate and engaged audience.

🎬 1–2 minutes in length
🎬 Submission deadline: August 8, 2026
🎬 Early submissions encouraged
