Well, What. A. Weekend. Now that’s how you bonspiel! Am I right?
For sure a bonspiel to remember. Thankfully, there were no flu bugs going around this year. Thank goodness! However, mother nature was not overly kind to us again. As you all know, there’s a lot of moving parts that make these events possible. We want to take the time to thank everyone for helping us make this such a memorable event!
Thank you to the Riverview and Brandon Curling Clubs for allowing us into your clubs for the weekend. We are so grateful to have two clubs to be able to host so many teams. There was a lot of work put in by all of the ice crew members and we thank you so much for giving us such great ice!
JODE! You and your crew are just simply the best. That meal was fantastic as per usual, and we appreciate you ladies keeping us all fed so well all weekend! Thank you!
A big thank you to the volunteers who helped work the ticket table and helped out in the bar!
We had a great opportunity to see some new bands this year. Thank you to 2 Hole Punch for joining us on Friday night. It was a great kick off to the weekend! Thank you to the Mike Sacharko band for rocking out with us Saturday Night! We also really appreciate you guys being able to step in somewhat last minute to join us. Thank You!

To the Curlers! Thank you all! Thank you to our returning teams that continue to support us every year. Thank you to our new teams! Not only did we have teams from Brandon and Westman area, we had teams from Winnipeg, Morden, Kenora Ontario and Minot ND! We hope to see you all again next year!
Special thanks to everyone one for coming out despite the frigid temperatures and road closures. This goes for not only the curlers but also all of the spectators who came to watch!
To my fellow committee members. It’s an absolute pleasure to work with you every year. To see your passion for making this event a success and your love for the game of curling is an inspiration. Cheers to next year when we get to celebrate our 5th Wheat City Classic!
