⚠️ VENDOR SCAM ALERT — PLEASE SHARE ⚠️
We are continuing to hear from vendors who have been contacted by fraudulent individuals posing as the Ancaster Fair and other event organizers in an attempt to collect vendor fees.
🚨 RED FLAG: If someone claiming to represent the Ancaster Fair contacts you from a Gmail or Hotmail address, they are NOT legitimate.
If you are considering participating in the 2026 Ancaster Fair, please remember:
✅ All official vendor correspondence will come from [email protected]
✅ Food vendor space is SOLD OUT
✅ Indoor vendor space is SOLD OUT
✅ Outdoor vendor space is SOLD OUT
🚨 WE ARE COMPLETELY SOLD OUT FOR 2026.
If someone is currently offering you vendor space at the 2026 Ancaster Fair, please do not send payment or personal information without verifying it with us first.
For any event, before sending payment or sharing information:
🔍 Verify the organizer’s email address carefully.
🔍 Confirm venue and event details independently.
🔍 Review the event’s official website and social media presence.
🔍 If something seems suspicious, contact the event organizer directly using their official published contact information.
⚠️ And please remember — this isn’t happening only to the Ancaster Fair. We are aware that many other events held at our Fairgrounds, as well as other fairs and events in the area, have encountered similar scams.
Whether you are applying to the Ancaster Fair or any other event, take a few minutes to verify who you are dealing with before sending payment or personal information.
A few minutes of verification can help prevent costly scams.
If you encounter this fraudulent practice, please report the email to google:
