A few updates from our friends at T.O. WebFest

It’s official: the NEXT UP! Pitch Competition is back for 2026, sponsored by the Canada Media Fund (CMF).

Submissions are now open and will close on June 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Five finalists from across Canada will be chosen to receive private coaching and deliver a live pitch to key industry figures during the 2026 edition of T.O. Webfest. These finalists will go head to head to win a $10,000 grand prize from Sunbelt in the form of in-kind equipment/services.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hone your pitching skills, receive feedback from a panel of industry experts, and get your project out in front of our web series community!
