Subiaco is going full Halloween.

Giant inflatable monsters are moving into Market Square Park and four Rokeby Road laneways are getting haunted for Subiaco’s first Halloween festival. Here’s what you need to know.

Subiaco becomes Spookiaco this Friday to Sunday, October 30th to November 1st, for the City of Subiaco’s first Halloween festival. Giant inflatable monsters are moving into Market Square Park, four laneways off Rokeby Road are being haunted, and the Subi Fright Market takes over the park on Halloween night. Most of it is free.

UnW**ed Events WA has Market Square on 24 and 25 October, with 300+ wines from 50-odd local wineries, plus food and live music.

We’ll be back on the 31st, and we’re bringing monsters 🌛

Subi, we’re going full fright this Halloween 🌛

On Saturday 31 October, we’re turning the market into Subi Fright Market for Spookiaco. All your market favourites are staying put, and joining them are:

🎬 An outdoor screening of Monsters vs. Aliens from sunset (around 6:30pm), thanks to Subi Voice of Youth
👻 Monsters Can’t Fly - giant inflatable monsters by Matthew Aberline - Artist with Beautiful & Useful Studio
🍭 A trick-or-treat trail for the little ones
🎨 Spooky face painting
🎃 Halloween characters and performers roving the market

Come in costume, bring a rug and settle in under the stars with us.

Part of See Subiaco’s Spookiaco weekend. Free entry, 5-9pm.

Juliana Areias - Bossa Nova Baby is closing out the Perth International Jazz Festival run with bossa nova under the trees, and we’re really going to miss these Saturdays.

Grab a plate, find your spot under the trees and sway along with the rest of Subi.
