Classical Music Club warmly invites you to the second concert of our 2026 season on Friday 20 March at 10:00am at the beautiful Leederville Town Hall.

We are thrilled to present acclaimed Perth cellist Sophie Walker, joined by distinguished collaborative pianist Adrian Soares, in a richly expressive recital for cello and piano.

A graduate of University of Western Australia, Sophie has built an impressive career as soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader and recording artist. She is the founder of WAYACHAMP, serves as an examiner for the Australian Music Examinations Board, and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring pedagogical approaches to chamber music education for young musicians.

Taking place on Friday, 15th November, at 10:00 AM at Leederville Town Hall. This special event will conclude our concert series before we take a short break, returning in March 2025. We’re thrilled to bring you a guitar extravaganza featuring the talented Jane Darcey, promising an unforgettable experience for all.

Jane has recently completed her Master’s in Music, focusing on the legacy of Gilbert Biberian, an influential performer and composer. Her dedication to studying his life’s work will shine through in this concert, where she will be showcasing pieces inspired by her research. As a highlight, Jane will also perform one of her own compositions for violin and guitar, adding a unique and personal touch to this already special program.

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming performance featuring internationally renowned Baroque flautist Andy Skinner, at the WA Classical Music Connect concert series. Join us at the Leederville Town Hall on Friday, 20th September 2024, at 10 am for a morning filled with sublime music and captivating music.

Andy Skinner is taking the morning off from the Australian Baroque to perform in this very special Classical Music Club concert this month. Andy is joining music director and local flautist Rebecca Guy on flute performing a selection of enchanting baroque music in a very “flutie” concert designed to be powerful and uplifting.
