Canine Masters 2026 is on this Saturday, 31 October, at The Capitol Theatre, Melbourne!

Due to serious family illness, Caroline Ingraham is sadly unable to attend. Our thoughts and love are with Caroline and her family. Caroline has very graciously offered to present her talk online as soon as circumstances allow, so we will all have an opportunity to watch her presentation in the near future.

We’re honoured to welcome Dr Katie Kangas, DVM, CVA, CVCP, who didn’t hesitate to answer our 11th hour call. An experienced integrative veterinarian and sought-after international speaker, Dr Katie brings a warm, engaging approach to sharing practical knowledge. We had been looking at bringing Dr Katie to Canine Masters in 2027, but she’s joining us this year instead to present her talk, “Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: Prevention is the best cure.”

We’re incredibly grateful to Dr Katie for dropping everything with just over 24 hours’ notice to get on a plane heading to Melbourne. 🐾

Three weeks of not shaving just to grow this dirty moustache for a very special video we’re premiering at Canine Masters. That’s commitment. 😂

Last year, it was A Day in the Life of The Dog Health Guy. This year, we’re going all out.

A lot of well known people are coming together to do something very special for the natural canine industry, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

For now, I’m looking forward to shaving this thing off before bed. 🤣

Improving your dog’s diet doesn’t have to mean changing everything overnight.

In this snippet, Dr. Judy Morgan shares a refreshingly practical message: start where you are, work with the budget you have, and make small improvements where you can.

Read the ingredient panel. Compare your options. Add moisture to meals. Introduce appropriate fresh foods when you can. And make changes gradually and consistently.

You don’t have to feed a 100% fresh diet to make meaningful improvements, and you certainly shouldn’t feel guilty about what you’re currently feeding your dog.

It’s about learning more, making informed choices and taking the next step when you’re able.

And this is just a glimpse of what Dr Judy Morgan will be discussing as the keynote speaker at Canine Masters 2026.

Known for her integrative approach to veterinary care, Dr Judy brings together nutrition, traditional veterinary medicine and holistic thinking to help pet parents better understand what they can do to support their dogs’ long-term health.
