Ready to take it further on the slopes?

's AST 1 + ICE/NAV course covers avalanche safety, ski mountaineering, and alpine navigation over two days on snow at Mount Hotham. Day one is the internationally recognised Avalanche Canada AST 1 curriculum: snow science, terrain assessment, and companion rescue. Day two adds introductory ski mountaineering and alpine navigation skills for travelling safely in Australia's backcountry. Up to six hours of online learning before you hit the snow, so the field days are spent on real practical field training.
