After out first art exhibition, "FACES: An Artshow by Camerron Abella," in December 2023, we're thrilled to bring the spirit of art and creativity back into the community through this special evening.

DKJ Studio will be showcasing art paintings as part of the event - and we'd love for you to come, take a look, enjoy the night and support local creativity!

On June 12, 2026, the Filipino community gathered at Parliament House for the Flag Raising Ceremony commemorating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence Day, hosted by the Filipino Australian Senior Citizens Association.

The event honoured the courage and sacrifices of those who fought for the Philippines' freedom while celebrating the rich heritage, unity, and contributions of Filipinos in Australia. Bringing together community members, leaders, and supporters, the ceremony served as a meaningful reminder of the values that connect Filipinos across generations and borders.

A proud celebration of culture, history, and community, the occasion reflected the enduring spirit of Filipino people and their commitment to preserving their heritage while embracing their place in Australia's multicultural society.

Hey art lovers 👋🎨

We’ve got a cosy little gallery featuring works by Sanchita — she’s been painting for 15 years and brings a really beautiful, natural vibe to her pieces.

She’s a Visual Arts graduate from India, and loves painting florals, feminine subjects, and landscapes, all inspired by nature 🌿 using acrylic on canvas.

Her artworks are now up for viewing and purchase at 5/90 Mitchell St., Darwin City, 0800.
