Meet Katie Crane, founder of the Top End Pilates Expo and owner of Encore Pilates & Wellness.

Katie opened the Northern Territory's first Pilates studio in 2006, helping shape the Pilates community long before it became the thriving movement it is today.

Over nearly two decades, she's earned four Pilates diplomas, founded a nationally recognised teacher training school, accumulated tens of thousands of teaching and mentoring hours, presented at the Pilates Alliance Australasia Conference, and hosts The Pilates Lounge Podcast.

Perhaps most inspiring of all, Katie's teaching lineage can be traced directly back to Joseph Pilates, through a mentor taught by one of Joseph Pilates' most recognised students.

At this year's Expo, Katie will share her passion for helping people move well for life with her presentation:
