CDU Information Technology CodeFair The critical aspect of the code fair is to foster and establish relationships between IT students, industry, local government and community.

The CDU IT Code Fair is a leading technology and innovation event by Charles Darwin University, connecting students, graduates, and industry through collaboration, competition, and career growth in the Northern Territory, Australia. Charles Darwin University’s IT Code Fair provides an opportunity to encourage and advocate students’ talent showcasing their work more broadly to the University and industry communities. This annual event contributes to promote awareness of education and training in Information Technology to local Middle and High School students including female and indigenous communities. At the same time, it allows students to use their creativity and skillsets in IT to solve local real-world business problems.

On 1 October, CDU students showcased their creativity and problem-solving skills at the Business Innovation Challenge 2025, developing smart solutions to help NT businesses thrive through the wet season.
The event brought together students, mentors, and industry experts — all passionate about innovation, collaboration, and real-world impact in the Territory. 💡✨
