TriWaco The Annual TriWaco Triathlon is held each July in downtown Waco, Texas.

An annual Greater Waco Chamber event, TriWaco is a USA Triathlon sanctioned Olympic & Sprint distance event located along the Brazos River held annually in Waco, Texas. The race starts with a 1500-meter open water swim in the Brazos River followed by a mostly flat and fast 25-mile bike ride on country roads north and west of Waco. The race finishes out with a hilly 10-kilometer run along the Brazo

s River that leads to the oldest suspension bridge in the United States. The Sprint distance event includes a 400-meter swim in the Brazos River, a 12-mile bike ride along the same country roads and a 3.5-mile run finishing on the suspension bridge.

🌊 Buoys: Can you carry a swim buoy during Electrolit TriWaco?

✅ Yes, you may have a buoy with you as long as it is NOT deployed.

❌ If the buoy is deployed during the swim, it will result in a DNF or disqualification.

🎧 Headphones, AirPods & Personal Audio Devices: Prohibited.

🕶️ Smart Glasses: Prohibited and considered a form of communication.

🪞 Mirrors: Prohibited.

📱 Phones: Prohibited on the course.

Let’s talk race numbers! 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣

Your race number is required during the run and must be clearly visible at all times. Please do not alter, fold, cut, or modify your number in any way that makes it difficult to identify.

🚫 Race numbers are non-transferable. Do not give your number to another athlete or compete using someone else’s number without permission from the race director.

Failure to comply may result in time penalties, disqualification, and additional sanctions from USAT!
