Eagles Wings Band

Eagles Wings Band Eagles Wings Band is an organization for homeschoolers from 5th - 12th grade focusing on musical development and proficiency on band instruments. Questions?

Eagles Wings band provides the opportunity for homeschool students to participate in competitions such as Solo&Ensemble and TMEA Region Band auditions, and an ensemble setting with concerts performed twice in the school year. The band meets once a week in three sessions based on skill level:

Beginning Band: 9:00am - 10:15am

Intermediate Band: 10:30am - 12:00pm

Advanced Band: 12:30pm - 2:30pm

tudents are required to bring the following items to rehearsals: band instrument, music stand, pencil, and a Standard of Excellence Method Book for their instrument and band level. Fees: $30.00 per family, per school year - for music/copying/materials, payable at the start of each school year.

This Tuesday eve, April 21, is some wonderful music that tells a story. The Sultan is captivated by the stories Sultana Scherazade tells. I. The Sea & Sinbad's Ship. II. The Kalendar Prince III. The Young Prince & Princess IV. The Festival at Baghdad, Shipwreck!

The Sultan is represented by the ominous sounding low brass. Beautiful Scherazade represented by one of the most beautiful violin solos ever written.

We are also partnering with members of the Harker Heights High School Orchestra on a 2 pieces.
