General admission, bike show entry, swap meet spaces, and vendor access will be available soon via chopperfest.com The history of Chopperfest in Ventura California is really a snapshot of America at it's finest. Real people who think outside the box and who can translate those thoughts into visual beauty both functional and artistic. Originally the brainchild of David "Huggy Bear" Hansen, Chopperfest became much more than a showcase for futuristic Motorcycle design when famed artist David Mann died in Sept of 2004. The grief felt by the entire two wheel world found expression as those who loved and respected David lined the stage with his wife to honor him just three months after his death. The love for both the "artist" and the "lifestyle" he envisioned blended perfectly through a huge showing of his original art and an equally huge showcase of custom motorcycles. Bike Builders from across the nation came to both honor David Mann at his passing and welcome the birth of his signature event. Chopperfest is forever dedicated to the design, function and art of the motorcycle through those talented enough to create and those creative enough to appreciate talent.

Let's Go!!!

Happy Mann Monday! Who’s ready for the 23rd Annual David Mann David Mann Chopper Fest ? February 6–7, 2027… two full days of motorcycles, tattoos, art, music, and good times, all celebrating the life and legacy of the legendary David Mann!

Last year’s incredible turnout came with a few growing pains, and we heard y’all loud and clear! We’re making some big changes, including separate motorcycle parking, two entrances for faster entry, early vendor load-in, and a new swap meet area with plenty of room for all your old parts, treasures, and junk. More space, more bikes, and two full days of chopper culture!

And we’re just getting started! Stay tuned for some big announcements on invited builders, motorcycle giveaways, live entertainment, and the full weekend schedule.

Mann Monday Tribute goes south of the boarder!

Vicente from Mexico put together a David Mann–inspired bike, drawing from artwork he couldn’t afford as a kid, memorizing as much of it as he could. Fast forward to today, and those childhood memories are now showcased on the Sportster he rips around the track at , beating out most of the competition.

This goes to show the incredible global impact David Mann’s legacy has had on future generations.

Yesterday we celebrated your birthday. Today we remember the day we lost you.

It’s strange to feel such a deep connection to someone I never had the chance to truly know, but your work has been part of my life for so long that in a lot of ways, it feels like I have known you.

Your paintings taught generations of us what this life could feel like. Freedom. Friendship. Loyalty. Love. Loss. The road. The bikes. The people we meet along the way. You captured things most people could never put into words, and somehow made all of us feel seen in the process.

Being trusted to help preserve your legacy is something I carry with a tremendous amount of pride, but also responsibility. Working with Jacquie, hearing the stories, seeing the original artwork, going through the archives, and helping share your work with people who may not have been around to experience it the first time is one of the greatest honors of my life.

I think about how much you gave this culture, and how much of you is still here. Your influence lives in every long fork, every beat-up old chopper, every garage wall, every road trip, every campfire, and every friendship built around these motorcycles.

I wish I could have just sat down with you, had a b**r, listened to your stories, and told you how much your work meant to me and to so many others.

I hope we’re doing you proud.

And as long as I have anything to do with it, we’ll keep telling your stories, sharing your art, honoring what you created, and making sure the name David Mann is never forgotten.

Missed by many. Loved by even more.
