Our hearts are full after this past weekend. The Seaside Highland Games celebration was a beautiful way to honor the lives of Nellie and John, who poured so much love into it over the years; they would have been so proud to see us all continuing the tradition. Thank you to everyone who shared memories, offered condolences, and gifted such thoughtful cards and flowers. Reading each note has been a true joy. Here’s to carrying on their legacy!

With immense sorrow, we share that Nellie Graham Lowry passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025 in the home she and late husband John Lowry lived for over 58 years.

John and Nellie poured their hearts and souls into family and into the Scottish community - especially through the Seaside Highland Games, their shared vision and lasting legacy.

It was Nellie’s wish to have no service. If you are moved to honor her memory, please consider a monetary gift in her name to the Seaside Highland Games.

Through your memories and stories, John and Nellie’s love and legacy will continue to live on.
