Filmmaker Flashback Friday! From 2018, here's a great interview on KXCI Community Radio with director Brendan Taylor and actor/producer Brandon Mindel of the film "Videotronynxz" about a fictional synth pop band, that featured music/score from Daniel Sparrow whose short film "One Good Thing" premiered at this years' festival in the Tucson Film Festival 2025 Narrative Shorts Program 2! Thanks to Bridgitte Thum for the fun conversation + supporting the festival!

A shout out to our narrative shorts filmmakers who attended this season and brought great energy to the festival! We can’t wait to see what’s next from Margaret Miller (Randy as Himself), and our two dynamic duos David J. Aberle + Steven Saldana (Saving Clementine) and David Salvi + Chris Sattel (Project Eden). It was exciting to complete the filmmaking process with Ben Taman (Seeing Each Other, Seeing Things) and McKenna Murphy (Sage Hen) for their world premieres! Thanks to all the cast, crew, friends + family for being there and supporting the festival!
