Here's a great way to support our veterans this November!

The Sullivan County Civic Foundation and Sullivan County Veteran Services are hosting a community meal on Sunday, November 8 at Meier Winery & Vinyard, LLC,11:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Enjoy pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, baked beans and dessert, give what you can, and 100% of your donation goes directly to Sullivan County veterans and their families.

Dine in or call 812-382-4220 for carry-out. We hope to see you there!

🇺🇸 The Sullivan County Civic Foundation and Sullivan County Veteran Services are raising money for local veterans and their families, and the best way to help is to come out and enjoy a good meal with your neighbors.

They’re putting on a community meal on Sunday, November 8 at Meier Winery and Vinyard, 4251 N State Road 63, from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The menu is pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, baked beans and dessert, with sweet tea, unsweet tea and lemonade. 🍽️

It’s a free-will donation, and 100% of it goes to Sullivan County veterans and their families.

You’re welcome to stay and eat, with seating inside and outside, or pick up a carry-out meal in the parking lot. Call 812-382-4220 to place your order ahead of time.

Sullivan County Lions Club volunteers will be serving, and the Sullivan County Veteran Service Officer will be there if you’d like to talk about available services. Thank you to Meier Winery for hosting.🙂

The Humane Society of Sullivan County, Indiana has dinner for $10 and the county’s largest silent auction going until 8, then Backwoods takes the stage from 8:30 to 11 ($5 cover after 8). 🎶

There’s a nacho bar and adult beverages too, so come on down and make a night of it. Every dollar helps the animals of Sullivan Humane! 🐶🐱
