Coming down the home stretch! Main area has some wood slats to put up, otherwise it’s ready for clean up.

Kitchen, dressing rooms, and bathrooms are ready for paint and flooring tomorrow.

Gutters are on, outside is done except the landscaping. Looking like this weekend the rain may hold off to get that done. The fire blew up most of the sidewalk leading to the ceremony area so we have to repour that.

All of the commercial appliances for the kitchen were delivered this week. New chairs for inside and outside and tables will be here Monday. I even made sure my storage room was big enough this time for carts. No more two per arm chair carries all the way outside 😅

Another 3 or so days and we will be 100% done. Can’t wait for everyone to see the new barn!

Another week down! The porch has been completed minus the front door which will finally be here tomorrow! It’s really coming together.

Walls in the dressing rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen will be done tomorrow.

The fresh cut wood for the ceiling and walls in the ceremony area will be delivered this weekend, the finishing of that starts Monday.

HVAC is completed in every area except the main ceremony area.

Landscaping starts Monday.

We are working on our next event - the Boo & Brew Dance. Last year was a whole lot of fun, and we raised money for a great cause.

Some sneak peaks… what do we think?
This time we went with a board and batten look. Definitely elevates the exterior.

I’m being stingy and keeping the front entrance a surprise for now. It’s gonna be a stunner!

Each interior room has its own exit door this time. That includes both dressing rooms, the storage room, and the kitchen. No wedding vendors walking through the middle of the party, or brides getting outside from the windows 🤣

Inside the beams for draping are finished. Wiring and plumbing is ongoing, and insulation begins tomorrow. Power will be back on beginning of next week 🎉

Here’s another update from last week. It’s coming along nicely. Looking like a barn more and more everyday! Next update will have the tin and board and batten up ❤️
